We allow one hour for your first consultation and half an hour for subsequent visits.

Paediatric Consultations

Our Paediatric Neurodevelopmental Physiotherapist, Desiree Frigenti, helps children to reach their full potential through play and fun activities. She treats children with delayed gross and fine motor development; poor balance, core stability and coordination; sensory processing difficulties; as well as conditions including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, and more. Greenslopes Paediatrics friendly reception staff (Ph: 3177 2000) can book you an appointment with Desiree.

Wednesday: 1pm - 5pm

 

Thursday: 1pm - 5pm

 

Friday: 8.00am - 1pm

 

Desiree also offers a 'Well Baby Assessment' for children between the ages of . In this assessment, Desiree runs through developmental milestones for your baby, as well as gives advice on tummy time tips. This includes, babies with reflux trouble, muscle strengthening tips, and general play time tips for their development. This appointment runs for half an hour.

Support funding 

Some families may be eligible for support funding through Medicare, the Chronic Disease Management Plan, Better Start Funding or through their private health insurance, depending on the type of cover. Every circumstance is different and it is best to enquire with us and your health fund and to understand the options

 

Fees

Private health funds provide a rebate for physiotherapy if extras cover is included in you package. Please contact your health fund to find out the rebate you receive.

We accept EPC (Extended Primary Care www.health.gov.au/epc) plans from your GP if eligable, which is provided under Medicare.

 

 

The fees we charge are set for a high level of care, one on one consultations,  and treatment by an experienced Women's health physiotherapist.

 

In most cases there will be a gap between the consultation fees and the rebate provided to you by Medicare or your Private Health Fund.
